Surabaya, July 16, 2025 – PT Kapasari Tehnik Utama, in collaboration with EDEN, successfully held a collaborative seminar featuring two renowned global brands in the cooling technology industry: Eden (evaporator/cooling units) and Extruflex (high-quality PVC strip curtains). The event took place at Hotel Morazen, Surabaya, and was specially designed to bring together professional refrigeration contractors from across East Java to discuss the latest innovations and solutions in cooling systems and cold room protection.

With the theme "Smart Cooling Solutions for Cold Room Efficiency", the seminar served as both an educational platform and a networking opportunity for manufacturers, distributors, and contractors. Attendees were presented with the latest technologies from the Eden Evaporator Series and the Breeze Evaporator & Condenser Series, known for their efficiency in low-temperature applications, as well as the Extruflex PVC Strip Curtains featuring anti-insect, anti-static, and low-temperature flexibility properties.

“We see a growing market demand for cooling systems that are not only efficient but also environmentally friendly and durable. This collaboration between Eden and Extruflex answers that need,” said Stevan Utomo, General Manager of PT KTU.

The event also featured interactive discussion sessions and real-world case studies, where contractors shared their project experiences and technical challenges in the field. Mr. Henky Moriska, Technical & Application Manager of PT Far East Indonesia (FERI), the official brand holder of EDEN in Indonesia, delivered an in-depth presentation and actively engaged in the discussion sessions. Audience questions were addressed thoroughly and positively, reflecting the participants’ enthusiasm and active involvement during the networking session.

The presentation on Extruflex plastic strip curtains was delivered by Mr. Ivan Chandra, General Manager of PT ACR, the exclusive distributor of the Extruflex brand in Indonesia. He highlighted the superior qualities of Extruflex curtains, especially for the cooling industry. The Super Polar variant remains flexible at temperatures as low as -60°C. In addition, he introduced PUR insulated panel products used in cold room construction. All of these products will support PT KTU in meeting the growing demand for refrigeration solutions in East Java.

Ms. Wira Endratami, Sales Director of PT Far East Indonesia (FERI) or EDEN, moderated the seminar. The event is expected to strengthen synergy among stakeholders in the refrigeration industry in delivering more effective and high-quality solutions, particularly in the rapidly growing cold storage sector across East Java.
